No need to dispose of plastic bottles, all of our soaps are wrapped in recycled paper which can be composted.
The Shampoo Bar contains Cold-pressed rapeseed oil, delivering a gentle cleanse without stripping away hair’s natural moisture. Organic apple cider vinegar helps to balance pH, smooth the hair shaft, and leave every strand soft and shiny. Rosemary-infused organic olive oil nourishes deeply while encouraging healthy hair growth, and the soothing blend of lavender and rosemary essential oils calms the scalp and refreshes the senses.
The bar is created using a cold-process method, which retains natural glycerine for extra moisture, leaving your hair healthy, light, and full of vitality.

HARD OR SOFT WATER?
If you live in a hard water area you might find the swap to a Shampoo bar a bit harder. Hard water has a high mineral content, but not the sorts of minerals you want in your hair. Often the water has passed through chalk or limestone, which reacts with Soap and can cause a build-up or residue in your hair.
There are however a couple of things you can try to get your hair feeling luscious faster.
Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse
Add 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to a cup of warm water and use this to rinse your hair after shampooing. Some people may need to change the quantities of Apple Cider Vinegar used depending on their needs.
Install a Water Softener
If you live in a hard water area you might choose to install a reverse osmosis filtration system in your house. This will help prevent the build-up of limescale in your pipes and purify the water that you drink. And of course it’s also great for your hair and skin.
Baking Soda
Some people suggest adding a teaspoon of baking soda to a pint of warm water and using this to wash your hair. It is said to make the water feel softer, allowing your shampoo bar to produce a better lather.
*We do not suggest that you use baking soda and a vinegar rinse at the same time, as these two ingredients will react with one another.
Please always make sure you have rinsed your hair thoroughly after shampooing

I have been using the shampoo bars for a few years now and wouldn't consider anything else. It is kind and gentle on my scalp and my hair feels thicker and healthy without being weighed down with any chemicals.
We've been using this shampoo for a few years now and it is great. My partner has bad dandruff and this keeps it completely in check!

Absolutely love your products and the shampoo bar especially. I have dreads and I've found it really difficult to find a natural shampoo that doesn't make them feel dry, or strip my scalp or make them heavy. And i have finally found one that makes then light and soft!! Big love.

So sorry for my late reply, i thought i had contacted you via email. The Shampoo bar is generally good for all hair types, however if you have dyed or heat treated hair it is a bit harder to us - how have you been getting on with it now?
hair is a very different texture after using, takes a bit of getting used to. Will try to persevere as per the instructions. Good product, but bars in general tend to rough up my cuticle due to the washing action.
I would normally have avoided a bar shampoo but I received a sample of this with my soap order. Having begun to have a reaction to the natural product I was using at the time I tried the bar and am so glad I did!
My hair is very fine and gets greasy quickly but the shampoo bar coped really well and left my hair with more body too! Due to illness I can’t wash my hair every day so it can become extremely greasy. Using this shampoo bar only needs a couple of washes and it’s clean again. I have also noticed that it seems to become less greasy than before too meaning that I need to wash it less frequently!
I’m so glad I received the sample and now have bought a bar to use permanently.

I have used these Shampoo bars before , several years ago , and loved them . So I decided to treat myself once again .
As I have now reached the other side of 60 , my hair has really changed a lot .
Sadly this beautiful smelling Shampoo bar and my hair didn't like each other , not one little bit .
But never mind , I now have the most amazing smelling body soap bar , that is very skin friendly , and a joy to use .

I’m really pleased with this shampoo bar. It smells lovely, cleans my hair really well without drying it out and leaves it in great condition. I’m very happy to find a shampoo bar that is 100% natural. I would definitely recommend. It also came with a free sample of soap which smells gorgeous and has been very much appreciated.

Hardly a need for conditioner.
AS usual this shampoo bar suits my hair very well. It makes it clean and easy to manage without loading it with chemicals. Be careful not to get any in your eyes and it is a lovely product to use. The free sample of soap that I received with the order is also lovely!

I have been using Wild Sage products for about 5 years. This is the best solid shampoo bar I have found and I love all the soaps and balms. I did prefer when the balms came in tins as it is difficult to get them out of the jars sometimes. The ordering is easy and delivery fast.
Nothing else works so well on my hair. I tried picking up alternative shampoo bars when shopping but had to come back to this one.
