a Wild Sage Pregnancy Oil Blend - Natural Oils for Pregnant Tums

An Essential Oil Free Blend for Baby Bumps

There is a lot of differing ideas around the safety of using essential oils during pregnancy, whether its which oils are suitable or whether the concentration is safe. That's why we always suggest consulting a doctor before using them.

But for those of you who don't want the hassle of navigating this heated topic, we decided to make a range of products that contain no essential oils and that have been certified by a chemist for use on mama + babies skin.

So far however, this range doesn't include an all over body oil. An easy solution to this is to simply use one of our raw oils after your bath (Apricot Kernel or Almond Oil are particularly nice)

But for those of you feeling a bit crafty, we decided to put together an easy oil blend full of skin loving oils to help promote cell rejuvenation, skin elasticity and all over hydration

The Oils You'll Need

20 g Jojoba oil
30 g Argan oil
40 g Almond / Apricot oil
10 g Rosehip oil

You might want to add a couple drops of Vitamin E oil too - we don't have this available on the website but you can buy it from your local cosmetics shop

Natural Oil Benefits

Jojoba - Known as an oil closest to our skins natural sebum, Jojoba is a perfect carrier oil in skincare for its low comodegenic rating (meaning it doesn't clog pores) and its ability to balance out uneven sebum production

Argan - commonly used in both skin and hair care, this readily absorbed oil is light weight and deeply nutritious

Almond -  Packed with vitamin E, fatty acids, and antioxidants, this lightweight oil melts effortlessly into the skin, delivering deep hydration without a greasy feel.

Apricot - Also known as Prunus Armeniaca - is a moisturising carrier oil with a low comodegenic rating, making it suitable for those with oiler skin types. Containing Vitamins A and E, it helps to promote cell turn over and rejuvenation - perfect for use in anti-aging skincare formulas

Rosehip - Containing high levels of vitamin A, rosehip is a powerhouse of anti aging benefits. The vitamin A works in a similar way as store bought retinols do, promoting healthy cell turn over and regrowth.
