We know that our skin naturally produces oils to protect, moisturise and heal our skin. Commercial cleansers strip our skin of these oils, leading to dry, irritated skin. Eventually resulting in the over production of oils, as our skin tries to compensate.
Instead of depriving our skin of the oils it needs to be healthy, the ‘Oil Cleansing Method’ uses clean, plant based oils to dissolve the dirty, old oils. Why strip your skin of what it needs when you can simply replace it with natural oils that nourish and smooth the skin.

Pour the oil in the palm of your hand and massage firmly, but gently, into the skin always moving upwards. Massage for 2 minutes, and then let the oil sit on your face for 30 more seconds or more. Apply a warm wet face cloth to your face and hold it there for 10-15 seconds. Slowly begin to wipe off. Rinse your face cloth and repeat until you’ve wiped all the oil off your skin

Such lovely cleansing oil. It leaves my skin feeling clean but doesn't dry out my skin. I was worried it may leave my skin feeling oily - but it feels moisturised not oily. It feels so luxurious and you only need a little bit. I did buy a pump from my local zero waste shop to make it easier to use as I found I would pour varied amounts out. I feel like this oil will last for months and months & is such a good purchase. It's a little luxury I can indulge in every day and I love it!! It also comes packaged so beautifully and in environmentally conscious packaging which I really appreciate. I would highly recommend.
I've been using Wild Sage oil cleaning method for years. My skin feels less irritated my skin (usually quite oily) feels clean and hydrated. It feels like a little spa every evening. The scents are really calming especially just before bed.
My 13yr old daughter uses this regularly mainly at night time and it has made such a huge difference to her skin. If she stops uses it (runs out) the difference is noticeable! I m so pleased we found and tried this!

I love how this product feels on my skin. It is the first time I tried this kind of oil for cleansing. I would say only thing to improve would be the bottle dispenser to have a dripper or something similar in order to get just the right amount instead of having to pour on the palm. Not the most practical cleansing method for camping as you need a hot flannel to wipe it off although the bottle is small so it doesn't take much room at all. I think it more of a nice morning and evening ritual at home. Overall very nice natural and as other products I buy from wild sage I am not disappointed.
