Small Businesses we love this Christmas

Small businesses run by real people

 Nadinoo

Nadia of Nadinoo hand makes beautiful pieces in the gorgeous town of Oakham. Her Shibuiwear range is inspired by Japanese simplicity and texture. My personal favourite, the Padded Cardis would make the perfect gift over these colder winter months.

She also sells a range of household items inspired by a move to slow, sustainable living. You can check out the website here

The Natural Dye Works

Gorgeous fabrics, handmade and dyed by founder Ros. Working with natural materials she cooks up fabulous dye blends using only petals, leaves, bark, roots & seeds. Each dye batch dye creates a unique pallet, making the perfect gift for nature lovers this christmas. Especially of course, her range of natural woolen socks for a cosy evening by the fire - check them out here

   Me & My Bloomers

Me & My Bloomers is run by Stephanie. A small flower shop that specialises in providing bespoke floral collections for weddings. However they also spend time working with natural dyes, providing wreath making workshops, creating lavender pillows, face masks and more.

  Cedar Lifestyle

Cedar Lifestyle was founded by Lizzie, who hand makes vegan, soy wax candles in her Manchester studio.

As she explains on her website

’Cedar is all about simplicity, and this ethos is reflected in both our elegant designs and the ingredients we use. Our long-lasting candles contain only 100% natural essential oils which is combined with our European grown rapeseed wax blend which is a more sustainable alternative to soy or paraffin wax.’
